Surprise, Americans don’t like the Afghan war either
ABC News has a report saying a “startling” 45 per cent of Americans do not think the war in Afghanistan is worth fighting.
What’s startling about it?
The enthusiasm for the Afghan war among Bush’s political opponents has been a ruse all along.
It allowed them to say that Iraq was the “wrong war” which had caused the Bush administration to “take its eye off the ball” in the war on terror.
Now Obama’s embraced it in the search for commander-in-chief brownie points. When he sees this poll he may wish he hadn’t.
